So, I am sat here at the moment feeling kind of numb. I'm watching the terrible shocking scenes from the finish line of the Boston Marathon. I seriously don't want to believe my eyes. Utter devastation in a heartbeat. Lives changed forever.
At the time of writing this, 2 people are confirmed to have died, god rest their souls.
Confirmed reports of multiple serious injuries and confirmed reports of multiple traumatic amputations.
All because they chose to watch a marathon.
This resonates deeply with me, not only for the loss and devastation in Boston but selfishly because on Sunday I am pushing the London marathon in my everyday wheelchair in aid of Leonard Cheshire disability.
Or at least I was
I now plan to push the marathon and to split the donations between Leonard Cheshire disability and the fund for the Boston Marathon.
If you can spare any money at all, the just giving address is

Please give anything you can.
As for golf, well, it kind of doesn't seem too important tonight.
I am playing for England Vs France later in the month but I will blog about that next week.
For now blog fans,
Please send all your prayers to Boston
